Before anything moves

What "migration" does — and does not — mean.

Every candidate is expected to fully honor the agreements they signed with their prior employer, including any applicable confidentiality obligations, and to protect borrower privacy under applicable law throughout the transition. Nothing on this page instructs or should be read as instructing a candidate to bring proprietary borrower data, employer-owned contact lists, or confidential business records from a prior employer.

What moves with you is what is lawfully yours to bring — your own personal relationships, your personal branding and website profile, and realtor marketing assets built on publicly available contact information. Whether a specific referral relationship, contact, or database record can move with you depends on the agreements you signed with your prior employer — which is exactly what the Business Review phase exists to determine, before any migration step begins. Every migration is expected to stay inside your prior employer's agreements, confidentiality obligations, borrower-privacy requirements, and the law at every step.
